Thursday Night Drinks Cologne is an international meetup group that get together once a week for drinks in diferent bars in Cologne and speak English. New faces are always welcome so come down to the Overseas on the 16th and meet them if you have time.

It’s international read-a-new-book month and Mustafa has kindly offered to host our first English language book club. The first book up for discussion is ‘The Happiness Hypothesis’ by Jonathon Haidt. It’s a very good read and will definitely give you something to talk about. Please let us know if you are interested in taking part in the book club.

THURSDAY, THE 11th OF SEPTEMBER FROM 9pm

The second Thursday of the month is always a night of literature and laughter. Bring along a short story or poem that you have written or found and read it aloud. Or just come and have a beer or two and listen. It will be a good night.
